Ministries

  • Small Groups

Small groups at CMC offer a way to encourage intimacy and growth within the congregation. Small groups offer a place to connect with other believers in fellowship; to grow in our understanding of the Bible, as Jesus' own small group of disciples did; to meet the needs of others in your group in ministry; to become equipped for evangelism; and to worship God through practicing godly behavior.

Looking to join a small group? Reach out to our church administrator at admin@conestogamc.com.

Youth Group (grades 6-12) meets monthly for events, such as game nights, picnics, and youth retreats. We offer a mentor team composed of the youth, a young adult, and an older adult of their choosing. Regular social events are planned alongside an annual quiz team and mission trip opportunities.

The Twin Valley Food Pantry is a member of the Greater Berks Food bank family of pantries, kitchens and shelters. Their mission is to supply a food supplement to our community and ensure that there are no undernourished children in our school.

Here at CMC our office continues to receive Twin Valley Food Pantry product donations Tue-Fri 9-3. Financial donations can be made by clicking on our "GIVE" box in the header and then specified under "Designated Offerings". • Anchored Ministries

Anchored Ministries, an Elverson-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, began as a result of months of prayer in 2016, by Ian and Erika Kanter to be God’s hands and feet. They had no idea what living a life of purpose, for the Lord, would look like or what that would entail. All they knew was that they wanted to help people and love them the way that Jesus calls us to. Their mission is providing basic necessities to local communities in need.

Anchored Ministries hosts a community meal at Conestoga Mennonite Church every 2nd Tuesday evening of the month at 5pm.
